Interjection
যে শব্দ দ্বারা মনের আকস্মিক অনুভূতি যেমন আনন্দ, বিস্ময়, দুঃখ, প্রভৃতি প্রকাশ করে তাকে Interjectionn বলে। Interjectionn মূলত একটি part of speech যা আকস্মিক অনুভূতি যেমন- আনন্দ, বিস্ময়, দুঃখ, প্রভৃতি বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং এটি ব্যাকরণগতভাবে sentence এর বাকি অংশের সাথে সম্পর্কযুক্ত নয়। যেমন: Alas!, Hurray!, Wow!, Hey! ইত্যাদি।
Alas! My wallet is lost.
Wow! Finally he got the prize.
Interjection মোট ৭ প্রকার। যথা:
1. Interjection for Greetings
2. Interjection for Appreciation/Approval
3. Interjection for Surprise
4. Interjection for Joy
5. Interjection for Sorrow/Grief
6. Interjection for Attention
7. Interjection for Hatred
1. Interjection for Greetings: কাউকে সম্বোধন করে ডাকার জন্য বা মনোযোগ আকর্ষণ করার জন্য যে interjection ব্যবহৃত হয় তাকে interjection for greeting বলে । যেমন: Hello!, Hey!, Hi! ইত্যাদি।
Hey! How are you doing?
Hello! Is that Mr. Mukim speaking?
2. Interjection for Appreciation/Approval: যে interjection বক্তার দ্বারা কোনোকিছু ঘটে যাওয়ার পক্ষে তীব্র সমর্থন বুঝায় তাকে interjections for approval বলে । যেমন: Well done!, Bravo!, Brilliant!, Splendid!, ইত্যাদি।
Bravo! You have done a good job.
Yummy! The cake is so delicious.
3. Interjection for Surprise: যে interjection বক্তার দ্বারা কোনোকিছু ঘটে যাওয়ার জন্য তীব্র বিস্ময় বুঝায় তাকে interjection for surprise বলে। যেমন: What!, Eh!, Ah!, Oh!, Hey!, ইত্যাদি।
Hey! What is this?
What! You got the first prize?
4. Interjection for Joy: হঠাৎ ঘটে যাওয়া কোনো আনন্দ বা সুখ প্রকাশে যে interjection ব্যবহৃত হয় তাকে interjection for joy বলে। যেমন: Hurray!, Yippee!, Wow!, ইত্যাদি।
Wow! The house is so beautiful.
Yahoo! I stood first in the test.
5. Interjection for Sorrow/Grief/Pain: যে interjection বক্তার দ্বারা কোনো দুঃখের বা বেদনাদায়ক ঘটনা ঘটে যাওয়ার জন্য তীব্র দুঃখের বা বেদনার অনুভূতি বুঝায় তাকে interjection for grief/pain বলে । যেমন: Alas!, Oh!, Ouch!, Ah!, ইত্যাদি।
Ouch! I am hurt.
Oh! This is so painful.
6. Interjection for Attention: যে interjection বক্তার দ্বারা কোনোকিছুর প্রতি শ্রোতাদের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করা বুঝায় তাকে interjection for attention বলে । যেমন: Listen!, Look!, Behold!, Hush!, ইত্যাদি।
Listen! I am warning you for the last time.
Look! The man is coming.
7. Interjection for Hatred: যে interjection দ্বারা বিরক্তিবোধ বা ঘৃণার অনুভূতি বুঝায় তাকে interjection for hatred বলে। যেমন: Oh no! How awful! Yuch! How disgusting! ইত্যাদি।
Oh no! This is so bad.
How awful! You are a bad person.
How disgusting! Please stop it.
